– For over 45 years, the Advanced Technology Development Center (ATDC) has helped Georgia’s technology entrepreneurs turn innovative ideas into scalable businesses. The 2025 Impact Report celebrates that legacy while highlighting another year of growth, innovation, and statewide impact.
Beyond the Metrics
In 2025, ATDC welcomed 39 new companies, grew its active portfolio to 149 startups, and supported a record 315 entrepreneurs through ATDC Educate. Portfolio companies raised $161 million during the year, contributing to more than $7.9 billion in lifetime capital raised and 15,585 jobs created by ATDC companies. The organization also celebrated its largest graduating class to date and recognized the inaugural ATDC Hall of Fame.
The report also showcases ATDC’s expanding statewide reach, strategic investments in emerging sectors such as Defense Tech and Sustainability Tech, and the programs that connect founders with investors, corporate partners, talent, and commercialization opportunities. Together, these efforts continue to strengthen Georgia’s position as a leading destination for technology innovation and entrepreneurship.
