Georgia Electronic Design Center
The Georgia Electronic Design Center (GEDC) is a cross-disciplinary electronics and photonics research center focused on the synergistic development of high-speed electronic components and signal processing to achieve breakthrough system performance. The center boasts more than 15 active faculty members and over 100 graduate and undergraduate students, making it one of the largest university-based semiconductor research centers in the world.
GEDC’s mission is to empower our industry partners to become technology leaders by promptly transferring the innovations of our faculty and students to the industry for commercialization. Our industry partners collaborate directly with GEDC faculty and students and engage in directed research. They may establish design centers in Technology Square or within our center.
